Institute of Behavioral Sciences
Research on behaviour has a long tradition at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). For almost 100 hundred years professorships have been held by scientists studying psychological conditions, experience and behaviour. At present the Institute of Behavioural Sciences has two professorships, one is held by Prof. Elsbeth Stern, the other one is vacant.
Education
Both professors are engaged in Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes as well as in the area of optional subjects at the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (GESS). The Chair of Education and Educational Research is responsible for the study courses in "Educational Sciences", which prepare candidates for the teaching profession.
